TARGET

ACCOUNTS

  • Target module requires accounts to checkout. To add your accounts to Shikari, go to the Accounts tab and click Add Accounts. Paste your accounts (email:pass format) in the field and click Save.

  • In order to login, Shikari tasks match the email of the profile to the email of the account. So make sure your emails match in both accounts and profiles. If you are missing the account or there are multiples of the same account, you will receive errors.

WATCHDOGS

  • With Target, the only way to target products is with their TCIN, which is the number at the end of Target product links.

EXAMPLE OF FINDING THE TCIN OF A PRODUCT: https://www.target.com/p/bicycle-standard-playing-cards/-/A-13331335 The TCIN is 13331335. DO NOT include the A- part of the link.

  • It is recommended to have at least a handful of Watchdogs for best performance.

  • Delays of 3000-5000 ms are recommended, but see this page for instructions on how to set up Watchdog timings for a more efficient way of monitoring.

  • You can input multiple products in a comma-separated list for more efficient Watchdog tasks.

  • Watchdogs are required in addition to Checkout tasks.

  • ATC is the recommended Watchdog type.

Another way to make use of multiple watchdogs so that you ping stock every time without causing your proxies to be soft-banned is to have one watchdog task at a 2000 millisecond delay, another at a 3000 millisecond delay, and then another at a 4000 millisecond delay; then start each one at different times.

CHECKOUT TASKS

  • For Target Checkout tasks, you must use the product’s TCIN as the input.

  • You must match your Watchdog and Checkout tasks by at least one input; more information is available here.

  • You can input multiple products in a comma-separated list for more efficient Checkout tasks.

  • You can only run 1 Checkout task per Target account or you will encounter issues.

PROXIES

  • If you're able to get ISP proxies that are clean and unused anywhere else, then it's possible to use them for both your Harvesters and Tasks.

  • Subnet(s) will work for both Harvesters and Tasks.

  • If you're unable to find a proxy provider with clean and unused ISPs or unable to afford your own subnet, you can still use any good proxy provider's private residential proxies as your Harvester proxy and their ISPs as your Watchdog and Checkout tasks proxy.

As previously stated above, it is important that your Harvester proxy can generate valid cookies.

RUNNING TASKS

  • Target tasks need to be preloaded before running, so it is best to preload early.

  • After preload, you hit start again to get the tasks to display Waiting for product to be found.

SHAPE

  • Target uses Shape for bot protection. Shape is enforced on login, which makes the login process slow, so be sure to do so early. Shikari has an automatic solver, but if Shape changes at the last minute, it can cause problems. Be sure to stay tuned to the Discord for updates on Shape.

CHECKOUT TIPS

  • For Target, the best products are sometimes only allowed to be purchased with Targets' Red Card. You can apply through Target and then add up to 5 authorized users, giving you 6 cards.

  • When using a RedCard for profiles, make sure your CVV you have for said profile is your RedCard's pin number.

  • Target has been known to cancel. It is best to jig addresses and have unique phone numbers, credit cards, and names to avoid cancellations.

  • The Target module uses the card on your profile that's in Shikari; if the card you have in your profile is not saved to your Target account, it will add the card to your account while running the task. The same goes for the address you used.

  • Clear Task Data on tasks where you changed any information from what you were using before; otherwise, this will cause the task to use the old information again instead of your new task setup information.

  • Every time you add new information, it fills up one of the 15 spots that Target has allotted per profile; please be aware of this when using multiple profiles for the same account/email.

  • If you make too many errors with regular/test tasks in a short period of time, you will end up manually causing errors in your account; if possible, let it rest for a few hours or days.

  • Running your RedCard across multiple accounts has a higher risk of "clipping" your RedCard account and issuing consistent declines on your orders. Stick with having your RedCard solely on one account.

  • We recommend a 1:1 card-to-account ratio, being that the card is solely being used on one account, and a 1:1 account-to-checkout task ratio.

  • If you're having constant declines on your RedCard, be sure to check your RedCard account to see if there are any pending charges. To double check, contact support, and if there is still nothing, the cooldown is about a week.

  • Not all declines are due to card-related problems; if you were to hit an item Target deems in high demand, there will be a hidden "QTY Limit" on it, meaning that if you were to get one checkout on an account, you will be cancelled on any orders after on that same account; this is usually 1 checkout per 24 hours. Other cases will be due to being zip code banned, where there are multiple users within the same zip code as you who have been getting checkouts within a suspicious window of time, therefore having Target flag the zip code.

  • Read more about how Watchdog & Checkout tasks work here.

  • New account(s) must have "activity" otherwise Target's bot protection will detect them easily; check #target-guide in the server for more information.

  • TCIN, TCINs, TCIN Search, ATC, TCIN 2 (Test), and Remote as the Target Method do not require a Target account to be linked to the email address of your profile(s).

  • The RedCard Exclusive TCIN Target Method does require a Target account to be linked to the email address associated with your profile(s); as it'll login, make sure it has a RedCard.

  • If for some reason the Watchdogs don't pick up, there is a right-click menu where you can select Force Checkout, and all the Checkout Tasks will go straight to ATC. Make sure you only have checkout tasks in the Waiting for Product status if you want to use that feature, though, or it will not be available.

  • For better organization, we recommend separating Watchdogs and Checkout Tasks into separate groups.

  • Shikari saves your task data for you (even after you close the bot). This means that once you get past Shape with a task, you will essentially always have a Shape session for that task. So the next time you start that task, you just have to update the cookies rather than fetch new ones. This makes it significantly easier to get through the bot protection the next time you start the tasks. Try to avoid erasing task data, deleting tasks, and creating new ones.
