Welcome To Shikari Beta

  • Use the key you received through your email from Shikari and head to the .

  • Input your key in the License Key field.

  • If you left the server or an error occurred in which you did not join the server automatically after registering your license key; you can click the Join Discord Server button that is on the top right of the dashboard to rejoin the server.

  • You can manage your subscription with the Modify button.

  • Your payment history is shown at the bottom with the date of purchase, what type of subscription payment it was (monthly or annual), the last four digits of the payment used with what type of card it was, the total cost purchased, and a Receipt button for said purchase(s).

  • At the bottom left, you'll find more support options, a link to the Terms of Service, and a logout button.

If you are prompted with a network access popup when installing Shikari, make sure to select at least one of the options that appear during installation. Without choosing any option, you will come up with errors on tasks every time.

  • Just click the Download button; it will automatically detect what operating system you're on.

  • If you're unable to access the dashboard to download, head to the #changelogs Discord channel, where download links for each operating system will be available.

  • If you are getting the “Shikari” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. error message when opening Shikari on a Mac:

    The error message occurs when Apple can't verify the app. You can circumvent the issue by doing the following:

    1. Open Terminal

    2. Type in sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine (note the space at the end)

    3. Drag the Shikari.app file into the terminal

    4. Press enter and type in your password

    5. Run Shikari

    Notes:

    • Shikari.app is the file that appears after unzipping the downloaded file

    • After step 3, the terminal command should look something like this: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Users/{your name}/Downloads/Shikari.app

  • To reset your Shikari, you must wait 5 minutes after closing it before moving it to another machine.

  • There's no technical aspect to "re-installing" Shikari; simply delete the .exe file and then download whichever version you'd like in the #change-logs channel.

  • To add Shikari as a shortcut on your desktop, just drag the .exe file from your folder and have it copied to the homescreen.
